Job summary

Bachy Soletanche Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide professional environmental support across operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 14001, environmental legislation and ESG commitments. You will work with project teams and managers to improve environmental performance and reduce risk.

Responsibilities include audits, site inspections, development of EMS, data collection and reporting, and engagement with stakeholders to drive sustainability

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability or equivalent.
• Working towards professional membership (IEMA or equivalent).
• Experience in environmental role within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience carrying out environmental audits and inspections.
• Experience supporting ISO 14001 compliance and EMS.
• Experience producing environmental reports and analysing performance data.
• Good understanding of UK environmental legislation.
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing environmental advice and support to project and operational teams.
• Carrying out site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Supporting compliance with environmental legislation, permits and project requirements.
• Assisting with environmental investigations, incidents and non-conformances.
• Supporting the development of environmental management plans, risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintaining environmental records and compliance documentation.
• Collecting, validating and analysing environmental data.
• Preparing reports, KPI dashboards and management information.
• Supporting regulatory, client and Group reporting requirements.
