Qualifications

• A minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent qualifications.
• BTEC in Engineering or working towards a BTEC Qualification is desirable but not essential
• Basic understanding of engineering principles is desirable but not essential
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
• Support the team in conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues under supervision
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in training sessions to develop technical skills and knowledge
