Job summary

ichiban UK Limited in Suffolk is offering an Engineering Apprenticeship to learn installation, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of production equipment alongside skilled engineers.

The programme combines on-the-job training with college study through REAGIT UK LTD. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, for a duration of around 2 years 4 months, with a pathway to a permanent role on successful completion.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or higher.
• T Level/Level 2 qualifications in engineering preferred.
• A level in engineering or equivalent beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Support engineers with fault finding and repairs.
• Learn to operate engineering tools and diagnostic techniques safely.
• Help install and commission new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Follow health, safety and food safety standards at all times.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
