Job summary

Stericycle in the United Kingdom invites applications for an Apprentice Engineer. You will be trained to Level 3 in Engineering, attend college one day a week, and work with the Maintenance Engineering team to support the plant.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Grade C or above in maths and English GCSE.
• Willingness to attend college and complete course work.
• Willingness to attend training courses specific to the role.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with the safety policy and signs; perform tasks safely.
• Develop familiarity with engineering aspects of the plant.
• Assist maintenance to implement the planned maintenance system and document work.
• Coordinate with shift supervisors to avoid conflicts with maintenance and plant operation.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and logs under the Plant Manager's guidance.
