Job summary

Stericycle is seeking an Apprentice Engineer in the United Kingdom, Wales. This role includes comprehensive training to meet the requirements for Maintenance Engineering while attending college one day a week to complete a Level 3 in Engineering. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience in various key job activities, such as maintenance operations and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will possess a High School diploma or equivalent and a Grade C in Maths and English GCSE, alongside a willingness to learn and work in a team.

Qualifications

• Must attend college one day a week to complete the Level 3 in Engineering.
• Driving licence preferred.
• Ability to listen and act on instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with the company safety policy.
• Control the planned maintenance system.
• Coordinate inspections and effect repairs for plant equipment.

Skills

Willing to attend college and complete practical and academic coursework

Basic knowledge of engineering

Good communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to work as part of a team

Education

High School or equivalent

Grade C or above in Maths and English GCSE
