Back To Work in the East Midlands is seeking a proactive Junior E-commerce Cyber Security Assistant to join our growing online retail team. This entry-level role focuses on supporting IT and security tasks across our platforms and customer data protection.

You will gain hands-on experience in monitoring security, handling basic incidents, and assisting with patches and updates while learning best practices from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for internal users across e-commerce platforms and office tech.
• Monitor website and platform security for suspicious activity.
• Support protection of customer data and payment systems, ensuring security standards.
• Help maintain secure user access to key systems.
• Assist with vulnerability checks on websites, plugins, and integrations.
• Assist with routine updates and patching of systems.
• Log and document IT and security issues per internal processes.
• Assist in responding to basic cyber incidents like phishing or compromised accounts.
• Contribute to cyber-awareness by supporting staff guidance and best practices.
