Job summary

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an entry-level Document Specialist to support our QA team in Bangor, Wales. The role focuses on reviewing engineering files for regulatory compliance, compiling certification documents, proofreading, and related research.

You will work with the QA team to track QA issues, use Protrack and other systems, and ensure timely delivery of drafts and final reports for archival.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Law or a closely related discipline.
• 2+ years of equivalent experience may be considered; Certification, formal training, or experience may also be evaluated and considered in lieu of educational requirements.
• Business School or Legal Assistant Certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or legal field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with team members and clients/prospective clients
• Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently well to perform the duties of this position.
• Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
• Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness

Responsibilities

• Review engineering test files for regulatory compliance.
• Compile certification documents.
• Proofread and conduct related research.
• Obtain and review engineering documentation via relevant systems.
• Maintain knowledge of submission requirements for each jurisdiction.
• Troubleshoot issues using manufacturer documentation and prior submissions.
• Utilize Protrack and other systems to process QA issue reports.
• Generate and finalize draft certifications and upload reports for archival.
