Job summary

Leonardo UK in Yeovil is seeking an entry level Avionic Systems Engineer to join our helicopter division, working with experienced engineers who can mentor you as you develop your career in systems engineering.

You will contribute to design, verification and support of avionics systems across helicopter platforms, collaborating with customers and external suppliers, and gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in a relevant subject (Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical).
• Interest and enthusiasm to work in a technical team as part of a world leading aerospace company.
• A passion for developing solutions for current and future helicopters and unscrewed air systems.

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with customers to derive system level requirements
• You will manage external suppliers to deliver equipment that meet these requirements
• You will work with systems integration and test to prove and qualify the avionic system
