Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an entry level Avionic Systems Engineer in Yeovil to join our Systems Engineering Team and grow under experienced mentors. You will contribute to designing, verifying and supporting avionics across helicopter platforms and uncrewed systems, participating in the full product life cycle from concept through flight test.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics or Aeronautical fields and are keen to develop their skills within a world leading

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical.
• Interest and enthusiasm to work in a technical team at a world leading aerospace company.
• Willingness to undergo BPSS baseline security screening and NSV where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Define, instigate and execute activities to design, develop and qualify avionic systems.
• Collaborate with customers to derive system level requirements.
• Manage external suppliers to deliver equipment meeting requirements.
• Work with systems integration and test to prove and qualify the avionic system.
