Leonardo in Yeovil invites an entry level Avionic Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Team. You will work alongside experienced engineers who mentor you as you develop your career in avionics and systems design, verification and support across helicopter platforms.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics / Aeronautical.
• Interest and enthusiasm to work in a technical team at a world leading aerospace company.
• Passion for developing solutions for current and future helicopters and uncrewed air systems.

Responsibilities

• Define, instigate and execute activities to design, develop and qualify avionic systems.
• Work with customers to derive system level requirements and with external suppliers to deliver compliant equipment.
• Collaborate with systems integration and test to prove and qualify the avionic system.
