Atos is building a Birmingham-based IT Support apprentice program to deliver first-line help desk services for a UK client. You will learn on the job while pursuing a nationally recognised qualification.

You do not need prior IT experience; we hire for potential and attitude. This role is onsite at Birmingham Business Park, with training, mentorship, and clear opportunities to move into AI, Cyber Security, or Cloud Engineering after completion.

Qualifications

• No prior professional IT experience required.
• We hire for potential and attitude.
• Minimum entry: Maths and English GCSE – Grade 4/C or above.
• Right to work in England and have lived here for the last 5 years.

Responsabilités

• Be the first point of contact for clients with IT issues via calls, emails, tickets and chats.
• Log faults and requests accurately in the Service Management tool.
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues: password resets, software installations, Office 365 queries, hardware faults.
• Escalate complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support as needed.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and communicate ticket status to users.
• Allocate 20% of working hours to apprenticeship studies and coursework.
