Entry Level Credit Controller - Full Time

The impact you'll have:

  • You will manage a portfolio of HSS customers, responsible for collecting owed monies according to agreed payment terms.
  • Monitor and manage customer credit limits to minimise bad debts while maintaining positive relationships.

A typical day:

  • Contact customers via telephone, email, or letter to collect debts following company policies.
  • Record all actions using the Debt Management system, following up as needed.
  • Work towards cash collection targets to reduce outstanding debt.
  • Identify and resolve issues preventing payment, liaising with HSS depots and departments.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent service.
  • Review accounts on stop due to unpaid invoices or breached credit limits and decide on appropriate actions.
  • Refer accounts for legal collection when necessary.
  • Represent the company professionally, embodying its values in all interactions.
