Job summary

Desian Education is recruiting a Reception Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Bootle, starting January 2027. This full-time, long-term position offers stability and the chance to lead a Reception class from the start of the new term.

You will plan and deliver play-based learning under the EYFS framework, monitor progress and engage with parents to support every child’s development. A nurturing, inclusive classroom is essential.

Qualifications

• QTS and current DBS checked.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for a Reception class.
• Plan, deliver and assess learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Support children's academic, social and emotional development.
• Monitor progress and maintain observations and assessments.
• Work with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school.
