Job summary

The Education Specialists are recruiting a Primary Teacher for a Reception class on maternity cover in Bootle. You will plan and deliver engaging EYFS learning experiences and support pupils’ development across seven areas of learning. This role requires QTS and UK primary classroom experience.

You will differentiate lessons to meet diverse needs, monitor progress, and work closely with the school team to maintain a positive classroom culture and safeguarding commitments throughout the placement.

Qualifications

• QTS required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Experience teaching Reception is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning in line with the EYFS.
• Teach a Reception class for the maternity cover period.
• Support children’s development across the seven areas of learning.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse needs.
• Monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
