Job summary

Qualys is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as the technical counterpart to Account Directors for large enterprise customers in the United Kingdom. You will act as a solution architect, deeply understanding customer environments and guiding deployment and optimization of Qualys platforms.

You will own renewal and upsell opportunities, coordinate with product and engineering teams, and translate complex security concepts for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Senior technical or solution architecture experience in cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
• Deep technical knowledge across vulnerability management, compliance, and cloud security.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT and cloud/hybrid environments.
• Excellent communication with technical teams and executives.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic accounts in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical and solution architect for major enterprise accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with senior technical stakeholders and security leadership.
• Understand customers’ technical environments, security architecture, and risk posture.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly — from engineers to C-level executives.
• Own the renewal and upsell pipeline process for assigned major accounts; support renewal execution.
• Carry out technical PoC as needed and manage opportunity pipeline through the CRM.
• Deliver high-level and detailed sales presentations; respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Cross-functional influence with Product Management and Engineering.
• Represent Qualys at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences.
