Job summary

Datadog, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and POV-based evaluations.

You will collaborate with the Sales team to articulate value and manage technical engagements with customers during trials. You will deliver product briefings, close complex opportunities with strong competitive knowledge, and maintain CRM notes on customer input, wins and losses.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps role.
• Proficient in Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, or .NET.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Datadog value proposition to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase and address issues for successful conclusions.
• Technically close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients.
• Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM on customer input, wins and losses.
• Proactively engage with customers and Datadog teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape.
