Job summary

Skipton International Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Data to lead the development and delivery of our enterprise data strategy. Reporting to the CIO, you will establish data as a strategic asset and drive data-led decision making across the organisation.

Based in Guernsey or Jersey, the role oversees data governance, architecture, quality, analytics, regulatory reporting, data warehousing and BI, shaping a data-driven culture while ensuring value from data assets and

Qualifications

Senior data leader in a regulated environment, ideally financial services.
Experience delivering data strategy, governance, analytics and enterprise data management.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms and service management.
Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
Experience managing third-party technology suppliers and partners.

Responsibilities

Define and deliver the data strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
Lead enterprise data governance, architecture, quality, analytics and BI capabilities.
Oversee data warehousing, ETL, reporting, and data visualisation.
Ensure data platforms are secure, resilient and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Foster data-driven decision making and a culture of continuous improvement.
