Qualifications

• Proven experience building, scaling and operationalising an enterprise-wide Data Governance programme from the ground up.
• Strong experience in FMCG/retail or a fast-paced environment with cross-functional impact.
• Understanding of commercial processes and master data management.
• Knowledge of data platforms such as Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with governance tools such as Purview, Unity Catalog and Collibra.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, launch and drive adoption of a formal enterprise Data Governance framework.
• Evaluate and implement Data Governance tools like Purview, Unity Catalog or Collibra.
• Define data ownership, stewardship roles, and responsibilities across BUs.
• Translate governance principles into practical processes with measurable value.
• Lead cross-functional forums to align data definitions across markets.
• Build engagement and accountability around data ownership.
• Develop metrics for data quality and governance maturity.
