Job summary

Modis International Ltd is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics leader to steer a multi-site data function, focusing 70% on leadership, governance, and strategy, with the remaining time on technical direction. You will build scalable data solutions, set standards, and drive continuous improvement while engaging with senior stakeholders.

The role entails leading a team of analysts, maintaining governance frameworks, and guiding enterprise data modelling and architecture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data, BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering teams.
• Strong background in BI and analytics solution delivery.
• Advanced experience with Power BI and reporting platforms.
• Strong SQL and database expertise.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models and data solutions.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and governance principles.
• Experience delivering technical projects and managing stakeholders across seniority levels.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and technical specialists.
• Own and maintain documentation, governance frameworks, and technical standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise processes and automate manual activities.
• Define methodologies and ways of working across the data function.
• Lead technical decision-making and solution design with focus on scalability and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Oversee data architecture, integration processes, and enterprise data modelling.
• Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and reporting standards are maintained.
• Manage the roadmap for data and analytics platforms and evaluate new technologies.
