Job summary

Credera in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to shape data capabilities for public sector and regulated clients. You will define data domains, models, standards and transition designs that tie business outcomes to governed data solutions.

You will advise stakeholders, lead a small team or workstream, and stay close to delivery to ensure architecture decisions are practical and adopted.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years in enterprise or domain data architecture, information architecture, data modelling and delivery.
• Experience defining data domains and models that align business concepts with technology implementation.
• Experience applying canonical, analytical, shared and reference-data patterns appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to data strategies, principles, target architectures and transition roadmaps aligned to business outcomes.
• Define and maintain data domains and models (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Translate business requirements into data architecture designs and data products.
• Apply and improve enterprise data standards with traceability in repositories.
• Support data ownership, stewardship and federated governance approaches.
• Embed data quality, metadata, lineage, privacy, traceability and auditability into architecture.
• Shape master-data and reference-data approaches for defined domains.
• Shape data migration and modelling transition approaches with source-to-target mapping.
• Collaborate with platform/solution architects to translate models into cloud schemas, pipelines, and lakehouse patterns.
• Lead small teams or workstreams, communicate trade-offs, mentor architects and engineers.
