Job summary

Transform is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Solutions Architect in London or Manchester to lead data architecture, modelling and governance across marketing, sales and research domains. You will bridge Enterprise Architecture and Data Engineering, delivering scalable data platforms and CDPs to power client initiatives.

The role requires cloud data expertise (Azure/AWS/GCP), strong SQL/NoSQL, and experience with ELT/ETL tools. You will mentor teams and shape data standards in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud databases across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Ability to design data models, dictionaries and metadata systems.
• Define architecture standards to support client needs.
• Collaborate with technical architects to align data platforms.
• Experience with data lakes/warehouses and CDP/SCV implementations.
• Proficient with ELT/ETL tools such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Talend, Informatica and Palantir.
• Experience leading teams and applying agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analysis and governance principles.
• A growth mindset and AI curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture design, data modelling and schema guidance for delivery teams.
• Scope and define enterprise data management solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with clients to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Advance data architecture thinking and capabilities across projects.
• Assess new technologies and approaches to improve data capabilities.
• Ensure quality and consistency of outputs across engagements.
• Plan resources and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Deliver data management and architecture frameworks for marketing, sales and research processes.
• Work with CRM, sales, research and HR data sources.
• Design and build SCVs, CDPs, data warehouses or data lakes.
