Job summary
Proofpoint is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Enterprise sales team across the DACH region. You will collaborate with regional sales and marketing to drive inbound and outbound activity, gather intelligence, and connect influencers and decision makers to our sales team.

Qualifications
- Fluent German and English required.
- Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce.com bonus.
- Excellent phone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a competitive personality and attention to detail.
- Experience with cloud deployments (private/public) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and respond to inquiries.
- Gather actionable intelligence on accounts for targeted outreach.
- Follow up on marketing leads to create sales accepted leads.
- Manage email campaigns for prospecting.
- Conduct cold-calling to generate new opportunities.
- Track communications in Salesforce.com.
- Schedule product demonstrations for the sales team.
