Job summary

Orion Group in Aberdeen is recruiting an experienced Enterprise Architect on a STAFF basis to shape the future of the organisation's technology landscape. Qualifications

Our Oil & Gas Operator client based in Aberdeen is currently recruiting for the position of Enterprise Architect on a STAFF basis.

What Are We Looking For:

• Proven experience in an Enterprise Architect or senior architecture leadership role. Preferably in an oil & gas business (though not essential)
• Broad technical expertise across applications, data, integration, cloud and infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience developing technology strategies, roadmaps and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrable people leadership experience, with a focus on coaching and capability development.
• Knowledge of recognised architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, or equivalent experience.

An experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the future of the enterprise technology landscape, ensuring systems, data and infrastructure enable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of security, resilience and performance

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for defining and delivering the enterprise architecture vision across the organisation. You will develop technology roadmaps, establish architecture standards and provide technical direction that supports both current operations and future ambitions.

Working across business and technology teams, you will use strong Communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into practical business outcomes. You will influence decision-making at all levels, ensuring investments align with business priorities and deliver long-term value.

You will lead and develop a team of technical specialists while fostering a culture of Learning, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Through mentoring and guidance, you will help build capability and strengthen architectural excellence across the organisation.

The role offers significant scope for Empowerment & Accountability, with responsibility for technical governance, vendor partnerships and architectural assurance across major programmes and business change initiatives.
