Job summary

Eden Scott is helping a global organisation recruit an Enterprise Architect in Glasgow. The role sits in a growing architecture team and reports to the Principal Enterprise Architect, offering influence over technology strategy and enterprise-wide transformation.

You will work with senior stakeholders to align objectives with roadmaps, shape architecture direction across multiple domains, and drive programmes across geographies. Glasgow-based with hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge across business, data, cloud, security and technology architecture.

Job description

I'm currently working with a global organisation seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join their growing architecture team in Glasgow.

This is a newly created position reporting directly to the Principal Enterprise Architect, offering the opportunity to influence technology strategy, drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, and help shape the future direction of a complex international business.

The organisation operates on a global scale and is investing heavily in its technology capabilities, making this an excellent opportunity for an architect who enjoys working across business and technology functions to deliver meaningful change.

The Role

As Enterprise Architect, you will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to align strategic objectives with technology roadmaps and architectural direction.

You'll provide leadership across major transformation programmes, establish architecture best practices, and ensure solutions support long-term business goals. The role offers exposure across multiple architecture domains and the opportunity to collaborate with teams across different geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps

About You

You will be an Enterprise Architect who has experience operating within large, complex organisations.

You will ideally bring:

• Previous Enterprise Architecture experience in a large-scale or global environment
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Broad knowledge across business, application, data, cloud, security and technology architecture
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Experience translating business strategy into practical technology roadmaps
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Candidates from any industry will be considered, provided you can demonstrate experience working within complex enterprise environments.
