Job summary

Pontoon is seeking an Enterprise AI Knowledge Architect to shape the enterprise knowledge architecture and governance for an AI-powered employee front door covering HR, Finance, Procurement, IT and other services.

The role is a 12‑month fixed term, based in Warwick or London, with responsibilities for taxonomy, metadata, retrieval systems, and traceability of AI responses, aligned to Responsible AI and security standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive background in knowledge or information architecture.
• Experience with enterprise search and content management in large organisations.
• Ability to define architecture, governance and standards across domains.

Responsibilities

• Own and define the enterprise knowledge architecture, principles, and roadmap aligned with AI and data strategies.
• Set architecture requirements for enterprise search and retrieval, ensuring AI responses are sourced from approved and traceable knowledge.
• Define controls for content lifecycle and quality assurance; ensure traceability between AI responses and source knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI, security, and data protection standards and foster communities of practice.
