Hitachi Solutions Europe seeks an experienced AI Architect to lead secure, scalable AI solutions across enterprise programmes. You will define AI architectures, standards and guardrails for clients and internal teams, acting as a trusted advisor and setting technical direction.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with architectural governance, focusing on responsible AI, cloud-native design, and cost-aware, scalable delivery across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Significant AI and data solutions delivery experience in complex enterprise environments.
• 5+ years hands-on AI delivery experience.
• Experience with Microsoft cloud and AI ecosystem (Foundry, data platform).
• Strong experience with Power Platform integration.
• Security, Entra ID, RBAC, data protection.
• Experience with LLM architectures (RAG, prompt engineering) and frameworks like Semantic Kernel and LangChain.
• DevOps/MLOps/LMMOps with CI/CD and observability.
• Two Microsoft certifications or pursuing them.

Responsabilités

• Design and own end-to-end AI client-specific solution architectures, including Generative AI, Agents and traditional ML.
• Define and maintain enterprise AI architecture patterns, reference architectures, and reusable building blocks within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Lead AI governance, security and Responsible AI by design, ensuring solutions meet regulatory, ethical and organisational standards.
• Provide architectural oversight across delivery teams, ensuring quality and scalability.
• Support pre-sales and discovery, shaping solution approaches and technical estimates and delivery roadmaps.
• Advise stakeholders on AI feasibility, trade-offs, risks and long-term sustainability.
• Build hands-on prototypes, reference implementations and reusable accelerators to remain close enough to the code to set credible technical direction and unblock delivery teams.
