Job summary

Sky UK is seeking a talented AI Engineer to join the Group AI Engineering team. You will design and deliver scalable, secure AI solutions using LLMs, agent frameworks, APIs and automation to drive measurable business impact and better customer experiences.

This hands-on role covers the AI lifecycle from experimentation to production deployment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and promoting responsible AI, governance and reusable patterns across Sky.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python software development and best practices.
• Experience delivering software across the full development lifecycle.
• Experience with AI/ML solutions in production or able to operationalise them.
• Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure AI solutions using enterprise platforms, LLMs, APIs, automation, and low-code tools.
• Own the AI lifecycle from data prep and agent development to evaluation, deployment, and monitoring; apply responsible AI.
• Develop standards, governance guardrails, templates, and reusable patterns for safe AI adoption.
• Provide expertise in enterprise low-code AI and automation platforms, translating updates into practical guidance.
• Collaborate across Sky and with partners; coach power users and promote knowledge sharing.
• Track AI and low-code trends; drive innovation and hands-on learning.
