Job summary

Sky in the United Kingdom is seeking a talented AI Engineer to join the Group AI Engineering team. You will architect and deploy intelligent, autonomous systems across Sky, leveraging LLMs, agentic frameworks, and secure, scalable architectures to transform customer experiences and optimize operations.

The role supports hybrid working locations (Livingston Watermark or Osterley) with a hands-on engineering focus, cross-functional collaboration and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience with testing and maintainable code.
• Experience designing and integrating software services and APIs.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (dev, test, deploy, support).
• Proven ability to translate requirements with stakeholders into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for scalable systems.
• Experience deploying/operationalising AI/ML in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable, secure AI solutions using enterprise platforms and APIs.
• Own the AI lifecycle from data prep to deployment and monitoring with responsible AI practices.
• Develop standards, governance guardrails, templates, and reusable patterns for AI adoption.
• Provide expertise in enterprise low-code AI and automation platforms.
• Collaborate across Sky and with partners, coaching power users and citizen developers.
• Track AI trends, drive innovation and skills development through mentoring.
