SII UK is seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team building next-generation AI-enabled solutions for connected products and digital services.

You will design and implement AI-powered validation frameworks, automate testing and data management, and develop scalable APIs and SDKs within a Python-based environment. Join a globally distributed team committed to innovation and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Commercial Python software development experience.
• Hands-on production-quality software experience.
• Experience with Generative AI/LLMs or AI-powered apps.
• Cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices.
• API/web service or microservice development experience.
• Familiarity with AI model integration and automation workflows.
• Experience in agile software development environments.
• Exposure to quality engineering, test automation, data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered validation and automation frameworks in Python.
• Build intelligent agents and automation workflows using MCP concepts.
• Integrate foundation models via cloud AI platforms and services.
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks, and AI guardrails.
• Create data pipelines for AI/ML data management and validation.
• Design scalable APIs, web services, microservices, and SDKs.
• Apply reusable design patterns, clean coding, testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams across the SDLC.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and automation effectiveness.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural decisions.
