Job summary

Decagon seeks an Agent Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end AI agent builds for strategic customers. You will translate requirements into build plans and deliver agents that meaningfully impact the customer’s business.

You’ll work with Agent PMs, Engineering, and GTM teams in a fast-paced environment, balancing hands-on execution with structured thinking while engaging with English and German-speaking stakeholders.

Qualifications

5+ years in a technical, customer-facing role.
Fluency in English and German.
Strong coding and API integration skills.
Experience delivering production-grade customer solutions.
Ability to translate requirements into implementation plans.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end AI agent build execution for enterprise customers.
Design core agent logic for reliability and correctness.
Engineer guardrails and supervisory controls.
Architect and test integrations with customer systems (CRM, data pipelines).
Interface with senior technical stakeholders to define success criteria.
Diagnose and resolve failures via root-cause analysis of execution traces.
Design evaluation and regression-testing frameworks.
Translate customer needs into internal documentation and drive platform improvements.
Partner with PMs, Engineering, Design, and GTM to deliver agent builds.
