Job summary

Superdrug in Glasgow is seeking an Accuracy Checking Technician to support the dispensary and pharmacy team across a 32-hour week. You will help ensure efficient dispensary operations, assist the counter when required and perform final accuracy checks with attention to detail.

You will work closely with the Pharmacy Manager, develop your skills through ongoing training, and enjoy benefits such as enhanced holiday and staff discounts. This role is on-site at Mearns Cross in Glasgow.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 in Dispensing or equivalent.
• GPhC registration required.
• Experience in community pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager and dispensary team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Assist with counter duties when needed and perform final accuracy checks.
• Help ensure smooth running of the dispensary and accuracy checks where appropriate.

The Role

Our Accuracy Checking Technicians support the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacy team to deliver great customer service. A big part of this exciting role involves listening to customers and using your experience and product knowledge to identify customer needs, providing advice and helping maximise sales. Your role at Superdrug will mainly involve supporting the efficient running of the dispensary and you will also be required to support the counter when necessary. You will also perform the final accuracy check where appropriate.

About You

• Must have a NVQ Level 3 in Dispensing or equivalent
• Will hold an up to date Accuracy Checker qualification and be GPhC registered
• Have experience of working in community pharmacy
• Enjoy working in a team - working well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Have a passion for learning and a willingness to be trained on additional services for the needs of the business.
