Job summary

Superdrug in Leeds is hiring for a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant or Dispenser. The role offers 20 hours per week with a flex scheduling pattern and salary of £13.80/hour as a Dispenser or up to £13/hour as a Trainee.

We welcome applicants with no pharmacy experience who are eager to start a career in pharmacy; NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or equivalent is preferred, with full training provided to develop in dispensary and customer service roles.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent), or a keen interest in healthcare to start as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior pharmacy experience required – a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care, efficiency and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday - 12:30 - 5:30, Tuesday - 13:30 - 5:30, Wednesday 12:30 - 5:30 AND Friday 11:30 - 5:30

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
