Job summary

Superdrug is hiring at Bristol Broadmead for a role supporting the pharmacy team. You may be a qualified dispenser or start as a trainee pharmacy assistant without experience. The position is 16 hours per week across Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, with pay per hour of £15.15 (Dispenser) or £13.95 (Trainee).

Join a busy pharmacy team focused on delivering excellent customer care, stock control and merchandising. Training and career development are strongly supported.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing or keen interest in healthcare to begin a pharmacy career as a trainee.
• No prior experience required; passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Deliver exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensure customers and patients are served with care and professionalism.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising.
• NVQ2 in Dispensing or keen interest, to start as trainee pharmacy assistant.

We welcome applications from qualified Dispensers and those with no pharmacy experience who are eager to begin their career as a Trainee Pharmacy Assistant.

Location: Bristol Broadmead

Hours: 16 hours per week - Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Salary: £15.15 per hour (Dispenser) / £13.95 per hour (Trainee pharmacy assistant)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising
• Either NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) OR a keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee pharmacy assistant.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service
• A friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well in a team or independently
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment
