Job summary

Cover People are recruiting a Teaching Assistant Enrichment & Inclusion Officer to join a welcoming primary school in Manchester. This varied role blends SEND support, SEMH interventions, enrichment activities, pupil mentoring and after-school provision.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 TA qualification, have primary experience, and be ready to lead activities, support learning plans and promote positive attitudes to learning within an inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in primary school learning support.
• Experience with SEND and additional needs; SEMH or Autism preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead activities and supervise pupils.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee after-school club; ensure safety and engagement.
• Support enrichment activities and SEMH interventions in mornings.
• Support inclusion provision; assist groups with additional needs.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group mentoring and emotional support.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain records.
• Support learning plans and EHCP-related provision.
