Job summary

Aspire People are assisting a Manchester-based trust in recruiting an English Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. You will deliver engaging English lessons, take responsibility for planning, marking and assessment, and uphold strong behaviour management within a supportive department.

Qualified teachers with QTS and experience teaching KS3 (and KS4) English are encouraged to apply. DBS Update Service is preferred, with references covering two years.

Qualifications

• QTS is essential.
• Experience teaching KS3 English, with KS4 experience preferred.
• Strong classroom behaviour management and communication skills.
• Resilient, dedicated, and adaptable teaching approach.
• DBS via Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• References covering the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

English Teacher - The Role:
