Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Central Manchester on a full-time basis, teaching English across KS3 and KS4 with planning and marking responsibilities.

QTS is essential; ECTs are welcome. Strong subject knowledge in English and excellent classroom management are required. DBS Update Service is desirable and references covering the last 2 years will be needed.

English Supply Teacher - Central Manchester

Central Manchester | Full-Time | ASAP Start | Until Christmas

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Central Manchester on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to build experience within a welcoming and supportive English department.

The Role

• Full-time, 5 days per week
• Immediate start ASAP
• Initially until Christmas, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate
• Teaching English across KS3 & KS4
• Join a friendly and supportive English department
• Full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking

Requirements

• QTS is essential
• ECTs are welcome to apply
• Strong subject knowledge in English
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Must be able to commit to 5 days per week until Christmas
• A DBS on the Update Service is desirable for a quicker clearance process
• References covering your last 2 years of employment/education will be required
