Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting an experienced English Teacher to join a large Multi-Academy Trust in Manchester on a long-term basis with an ASAP start.

You will deliver engaging English lessons, take responsibility for planning, marking and assessment, and maintain excellent classroom behaviour. You’ll work collaboratively with a welcoming department committed to pupil progress and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English, mainly KS3.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons.
• Plan, mark, and assess students’ work.
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour.
• Collaborate with staff across the department.
