The ideal candidate will have QTS or an equivalent UK qualification and experience teaching English at secondary level, delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. This is a full-time, long-term position with a supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively.

• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Support pupils in developing literacy, written and analytical skills.
• Contribute to the wider English department and school community.
• Support the academic and personal development of all learners.

Cover People are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, starting immediately for the remainder of the academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Teacher or ECT looking for a long-term, full-time position within a supportive school environment.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and purposeful English lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills while making a positive impact on their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:
