Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary academy in Sheffield. You will deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom behaviour.

You should hold QTS with an English specialism, have experience teaching across KS3/KS4, and plan differentiated lessons. The school offers CPD support, a dedicated consulting team, and market leading pay rates.

The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and classroom behaviour.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
