TeacherActive is supporting a welcoming secondary academy in Sheffield, rated Good by OFSTED. We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3/KS4 on a short-term basis, with a PAYE payroll and a focus on student achievement.

The role begins immediately in a supportive environment that promotes curiosity, scholarship and respect, with CPD and on-going support provided.

Qualifications

• QTS with English specialism; ECTs welcome.
• Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.

The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher on a short-term basis, starting immediately. The successful English Teacher will deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and classroom behaviour.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A positive, adaptable approach and a commitment to student achievement
