Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a versatile English & Maths Tutor to support learners in Chester with flexible 1:1 tuition. The role focuses on English and Maths, adapting sessions to individual ability, confidence and learning needs.

You will deliver structured, engaging sessions, monitor progress and provide feedback. The position requires a teaching qualification or tutoring experience, enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain), and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of English and Maths.
• Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people.
• Ability to deliver engaging 1:1 sessions.
• Flexible and learner-centred approach.
• Experience supporting learners with additional needs is desirable.
• Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
