Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced English & Maths Tutor to provide flexible 1:1 tuition in Runcorn. Location-based role with 5–15 hours per week, starting September 2026 and continuing.

You will deliver English and Maths tuition, plan sessions around individual learning objectives, identify gaps, adapt resources and record progress to boost learner confidence and independent study skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of English and Maths.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Ability to differentiate learning effectively.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Two professional child-related references.
