Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an Apprentice Engineering Technician to support engineering curriculum delivery. The role covers coordinating workshop and assessment spaces and working with staff to ensure effective student support.

You will also monitor equipment and help manage resources to run practical sessions. You will hold Level 2 English and Maths, with IT competence and familiarity with simulation software.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 English and Maths.
• Experience operating a range of engineering equipment.
• Willingness to study towards Level 3 within 48 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workshop and assessment areas to support staff and students.
• Monitor and maintain engineering department equipment.
• Ensure efficient resource usage to deliver the curriculum.
