Job summary

RecruitedUK in Orpington is seeking a Workshop Technician to support apprentices with hands-on guidance in a modern training centre. You will help maintain a safe and well-organised workshop and assist trainers in delivering engaging learning experiences.

The role requires an Electrical or Engineering NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), proven industry experience, strong communication skills, good IT abilities and a valid UK driving licence. Full training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven industry/occupational experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, plus good IT skills and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical support and guidance to apprentices during training sessions.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and effective workshop environment.
• Support trainers in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences.
• Ensure equipment and resources are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
