Job summary

Boston Rose Ltd is seeking an Engineering Vocational Assessor to travel across Greater Manchester, mentoring and assessing engineering apprentices toward their level 2/3 qualifications. The role includes a starting salary up to £40,000 with a contributory pension, mileage allowance of 45p per mile and generous holiday entitlement.

Unqualified assessors start at £35,000 and progress after completing the assessor award and probation.

Qualifications

• A level 3 Engineering qualification (or higher).
• Industrial experience of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A desire to pass on your engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Travel to engineering workplaces and mentor and assess apprentices, providing vocational training and assessment aligned with their level 2/3 qualifications.
