Job summary

Boston Rose Limited is working with an education provider in the Greater Manchester area to recruit two Engineering Vocational Assessors for a full-time, permanent role. The position involves travelling to engineering workplaces across Greater Manchester to mentor and vocationally assess apprentices studying for level 2/3 qualifications.

The starting salary is up to £40,000 per year, including a contributory pension and 33 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Must have a level 3 Engineering qualification (or higher).
• Industrial experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Desire to pass on engineering knowledge to apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Travel to engineering workplaces across Greater Manchester to mentor apprentices.
• Vocationally assess engineering apprentices studying for level 2/3.
• Support and assess progress of apprentices throughout their training.
