Job summary

Safran Seats in the UK is seeking an Engineering Training Lead to develop and deliver engineering training and learning programmes that support the growth of engineering talent and ensure consistency in standards and practices.

You will work closely with the VP Engineering, Development School Director, HR, Learning & Development, Technical Audit, and Engineering Leadership teams to identify skills gaps, design targeted learning solutions, and drive the application of lessons learned across the

Qualifications

• Designing and delivering engaging engineering training and development programmes.
• Experience coordinating early career development, including apprentices and graduates.
• Ability to build relationships with internal experts and external training providers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and deliver training solutions addressing current and future engineering skills requirements.
• Build and manage relationships with internal experts and external training providers to deliver specialist technical training.
• Collaborate with HR, L&D, Engineering Leadership and Heads of Function to capture skills needs, validate requirements, and maintain skills matrices.
• Develop accessible training materials and learning pathways that support professional development, career progression and organisational capability.
• Monitor and report on training effectiveness, supporting Technical Audit activities and driving measurable improvements through KPIs.
• Manage engineering learning resources, facilities and induction programmes to ensure employees become competent and role-ready.
