Safran UK is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Industrialisation team to drive new products from design to production, ensuring on-time, cost-effective and high-quality introduction. You will collaborate with design engineering to guarantee manufacturability and provide ongoing support to operations and after-market teams.
The ideal candidate has a 2+ year background in aerospace or automotive manufacturing, experience with CATIA CAD modelling, and knowledge of DFMA principles and aircraft

In the Industrialisation department the team hold responsibility for the development and introduction of new and updated products into production on time, to cost and to a high quality standard.
You, as the Manufacturing Engineer, will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the new product introduction process and be working at an advanced beginner/competent level.
Here, you'll be responsible for projects of complexity and will work closely with other functions of the business especially design engineering to ensure product designs meet manufacturing and assembly requirements.
You will also be required to provide periodic support to operations, sales, R & T and after market teams to deliver customer requests.
