Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an Engineering Trainer Assessor to support engineering apprentices throughout their apprenticeship. You will visit learners in the workplace, deliver training, carry out assessments, complete progress reviews and work with employers to help apprentices complete qualifications.

Ideal candidates will have Level 3 Engineering qualifications, an assessor qualification (TAQA/CAVA/A1) and a full UK driving licence, with opportunities to progress into IQA and senior assessor roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with apprenticeships or vocational training.
• Experience conducting workplace assessments.
• Coaching or mentoring experience.
• Ability to work with employers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Visit learners in the workplace to deliver training and assessments.
• Carry out progress reviews and monitor apprentices' development.
• Work closely with employers to support qualification completion.
• Deliver training at a variety of workplace and college settings.
• Develop into IQA or senior assessor roles over time.
