Job summary

Henry Blue is seeking an experienced engineer to join as an Engineering Trainer Assessor. This full-time permanent role involves visiting learners in the workplace, delivering training, carrying out assessments, and completing progress reviews.

You'll work closely with employers to help apprentices complete their qualifications, with opportunities to progress into IQA and senior assessor roles. The role includes Teachers' Pension, 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical or manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of apprenticeships or vocational training.
• Experience with workplace assessment and coaching/mentoring.
• Ability to work with employers and ensure health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit learners in the workplace to support progress.
• Deliver training and carry out assessments and progress reviews.
• Work with employers to help apprentices complete qualifications.
• Contribute to ongoing CPD and professional development.

An opportunity for an experienced engineer or assessor to support engineering apprentices throughout their apprenticeship.

You'll visit learners in the workplace, deliver training, carry out assessments, complete progress reviews and work closely with employers to help apprentices complete their qualifications.

We're looking for experience in:

You'll ideally have:

• Level 3 Engineering qualification
• TAQA/CAVA/A1 Assessor qualification (or willingness to gain it)
• Full UK Driving Licence
